日本の印象（五）

京都に行って、銀閣寺に行かなければなりませんでしたね。銀閣寺の建物は金閣寺のほど立派ではありませんですが、銀閣寺の庭のほうが気に入ります。観光客がたくさんありましたが、銀閣寺の中はとても静かでした。多分、これはここの独特の空気ですね。

朝御飯お食べて、銀閣寺にバスで行きました。

立派ではありませんでしたが、建物と庭は一体です。

枯山水は日本の伝統の芸術です。でも、この枯山水はとてもモダンだと思います。とても気に入ります。

小さい隅も精緻です。

この人造の庭に「野趣」がたくさんありますね。

日常（三）

毎日、実験室に行って、教授に会って、実験をします。大抵半日ぐらい実験室で仕事します。この実験室は広いですが、いろいろ実験機関がたくさんありますから、利用な空間はちょっと狭いです。そして、この建物は旧くて、いろいろ問題があります。時々電気は不安定です、又は冷却水は減ります。これは大学院生の生活です。(=_=|||

これは実験機関の部分です。

卒業の後で、多分配管工になりますね…

とても工業スタイルです。

旧い歌

この歌を偶然聞きました。とても子供時代の記憶がありますね。「Slum Dunk」を見ましたから、たくさんの友達はバスケとボールが好きになりました。時々友達と一緒にバスケとボールをしました、その時間は楽しかったです。

でも、大学の卒業の後、学業や仕事があって、友達はバスケとボールを全然しませんでした。同時に、いろいろ趣味も止めました。

これはいいですか、よくないですか。正しい答えがありませんね、多分。

日本の印象（四）

京都の夕方は賑やかです。祇園の隣の花見小路にたくさんの居酒屋があります。

時々芸者を見ました。和服を着て、琴を持っていました。そして歩みは忙しそうでした。

京都の半夜は夕方よりとても静かです。八坂神社に誰もいませんでした。唯石の獅子はこの神社を護りました。

ここで外のたくさんの車がある道路を見ましたか、神社の時間は停止しそうでした。

Reflection & Review

On the half way of the semester, it's time to review the study goal posted before.

Goal.

To be able to understand spoken Japanese with medium speed and medium length.
In the range of the textbook which we touched, I don't have too much problem in understanding textbook audio and sensei's speaking in the class.

To be able to speak Japanese with correct pronunciation and pitch in medium speed and medium length.
According to sensei's comments for oral exam, seems pronunciation, pitch and speed are fine. But I should pay more attention in accuracy.

To be able to communicate with people with daily-life topics under daily-life environment.
Based on my performance of the random practice in the class, seems I still have some distance from this goal. Accuracy or fluency, currently I failed to catch them together under the real communication situation.

To be able to understand written Japanese in medium length. To be able to write short passage in Japanese.
For the short reading material on textbook, seems it's not a problem to me. But I didn't try more advanced ones yet.


Activity.

Review vocabulary every day.
Yes.

Shadow the material on SE twice a week.
Almost, sometimes once a week.

Read extra reading material everyday (another textbook, news in Japanese, lyrics, etc.).
Yes. I tried some textbooks to help understand the current official one in the class.

これは本当に高校の校歌ですか。どの優しい校歌が…信じれない。

日常（二）

今、秋ですね。秋はプリンストンの一番いい季節です。冬より暖かいですか、夏より涼しいです。でも、ここの秋は短いです。雨がある後に、寒くなりますか、紅葉は落ちます、何度も何度。最後、初雪は来ます。

今日もいい天気ですか、冬ももう近いますね。

Aria

日本語を勉強しますから、最近日本の音楽をよく聞きました。この歌をたまに聞きましたか、気に入りました。これは「英雄伝説　空の軌跡」のEDです。「空の軌跡」はゲームです。でも、私はこのゲームをしませんてした。

日本の印象（三）

大阪の関西国際空港から京都まで列車で行きました。日本に鉄道の交通はとても便利です。

夕方に京都へ来ました。京都駅は広くて立派な建物です。駅にアパートとレストランと喫茶店と地下鉄といろいろ施設があります。

町は賑やかです。

でも、北京より京都のほうが静かです。ちょうどいいですね。

日常

プリンストンは小さいと静かな町です。

学園は広くないですが、綺麗な眺めです。

大学院生の寮は１８世紀の建物です。とてもゴシックです。

毎朝、日光に学園は起きます。

昼ご飯のいい場所です。

図書館の空気ですから、勉強しなければなりません。

京都駅に「ラーメン小路」があります。いろいろラーメン店があります。

その大部分のラーメンはとても美味しいですが、少数は不味いです。

例えは、これは一番塩辛かったです。４杯の水を飲みました。

三年前、京都と神戸へ一人行きましだ。少し写真を撮りましだ。































もう一度日本の旅行を欲しいです。でも、研究ですから、とでも忙しいです。

早口言葉は随分難しいです。

月は綺麗です

いま、日本人は「月は綺麗です」を使用ですか。「愛してる」ですか。
少し好奇です。

Hello world

As a graduate student working on condensed matter physics, the life filling with equations and experiment data is a little bit boring. Then I decided to touch something else, else than science and engineering. History? Philosophy? Art? Literature? Hum... It's hard to imagine, as a non-native English speaker, what will happen when facing tons of strange terminology and obscure expression.

Well, if the language is the first obstacle, maybe, it's not a bad idea to start on it. If it's going to try any one, something totally different from English might be more interesting. Then, there I am, in an elementary Japanese class.
